Company Details
Lundin Mining Corporation functions as a diverse enterprise specializing in the exploration, development, and extraction of base metals. Its global footprint extends to mineral properties across Brazil, Chile, Portugal, Sweden, and the United States. The company primarily yields copper, zinc, nickel, and gold, while also producing lead, silver, and various other metallic resources. Lundin Mining holds complete ownership of several key assets, including the Chapada mine in Brazil, Portugal's Neves-Corvo operation, the Eagle mine in the United States, and Sweden's Zinkgruvan. Furthermore, it maintains an 80% equity interest in Chile's Candelaria and Ojos del Salado mining complex. Established in 1994, the company, initially known as South Atlantic Ventures Ltd., adopted its current name, Lundin Mining Corporation, in August 2004. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Toronto, Canada.
