Lion Copper and Gold Corp. operates as a mineral exploration entity, primarily focused on the acquisition, exploration, and advancement of copper projects across the United States and Canada. The company boasts 100% ownership of its MacArthur and Yerington properties. It also fully controls the Blue Copper prospect, a site covering approximately 7,430 acres located across Powell and Lewis and Clark Counties in Montana. Furthermore, Lion Copper and Gold possesses an option to acquire a full 100% interest in Nevada's Bear, Wassuk, and Butte Valley properties. Its portfolio also includes a 90% stake in the Groundhog copper prospect, found southwest of Anchorage, Alaska. Rounding out its holdings, the company maintains 100% ownership of the Chaco Bear property within British Columbia's Golden Triangle, as well as the Ashton property near Lytton, British Columbia. Initially incorporated in 1993, the company operated under the name Quaterra Resources Inc. before rebranding as Lion Copper and Gold Corp. in November 2021. Its corporate headquarters are situated in Vancouver, Canada.
